KCLA Settlement Seminar with Judges Kwong & Hiroshige

APABA is co-sponsoring the Korean Community Lawyers Association’s Settlement Seminar. Come hear two experienced settlement Judges (Judge Owen Kwong, specially assigned to the Central Civil Settlement Program, and Judge Ernest Hiroshige, assigned to LA Central Direct Calendaring) give their insights into how settlement conferences are conducted and what they expect from counsel appearing in terms of their MSC Statements, counsel's strategy toward settlement, and how settlements are achieved. The Judges will give their "do's and don'ts" for counsel at settlement conferences and will provide suggestions as to how counsel should prepare for achieving settlement of their cases.
