APABA Monthly Community Legal Clinic - June 9, 2026
Attorneys and law students are needed to volunteer at APABA's monthly legal clinic, which is held on the second Tuesday of each month (6:00 to 7:45 pm). Volunteers will be matched with a clinic participant and help with intake and provide information in response to myriad legal issues in the areas of family law, estate planning, criminal law, civil matters, labor and employment, government benefits, and immigration.
AAPI Unity Night 2026
The Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles County (APABA), Center for Asian Americans United for Self-Empowerment (CAUSE), Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California (AJSOCAL), the Asian Pacific American Women Lawyers Alliance (APAWLA), and a number of AAPI bar associations present a panel to discuss the far-reaching impacts of federal immigration enforcement actions on the everyday lives of immigrant communities in Southern California.
This event will give an update on immigration enforcement a year into the Second Trump Administration, and provide insights from lawyers and service providers in areas ranging from criminal defense, human trafficking prevention, family law, elections and voting, and small business / employer support.
