APABA is proud to hold our annual Elder Law Day this year at TELACU Courtyard, a residential facility for low-income senior citizens in Los Angeles.
Attorneys, law students, notaries public, and Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish and Korean translators are needed!
Volunteers will be helping our seniors to prepare Advance Health Care Directives and Powers of Attorney.
In addition, we need volunteers to help us run the event smoothly with set-up, registration, clean up, or as runners.
A substantive law training will be provided by estate planning attorney Dinh Luu from 9:00-10:00am.
1 hour of MCLE will be provided for the training.
Consultations with the seniors will take place from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
Continental breakfast will be provided.
